Dog Paw Soak Baking Soda

There are two ways to use baking soda to bath your dog.

Dog paw soak baking soda. Baking soda has a lot of uses in and out of the kitchen including treating itchy dog skin and paws. Dip the paws for about 1 2 minutes. A dog with itchy paws will need a dry baking soda bath which is more comfortable than a full bath. Use baking soda to treat your dog s itchy paws.

Again fill up a bucket with warm water and then mix in about cup of baking soda. You ll start to notice the symptoms of the infection go away quickly. Place the paste on the areas that are itchy or reddened. A dry shampoo bath is easy with baking soda and a drop of essential oils while a wet bath can become an odor eliminating bath with baking soda added to water.

Let your dog s paw soak for about 10 minutes. Then wash it off. After about 20 minutes rinse completely. Add a tablespoon of baking soda to a liter of water and soak your dog s feet for a few minutes every day for a week. Just 1 or 2 tablespoons of baking soda per gallon of water is enough to lessen the itchiness.

Repeat this twice a day for a week or until the dog stops licking its paw.
